is there any material i can use to as inserts/boosters?
stupid Q.....can i make one with lots of layers of an old towel for instance?

Lots of people make their own boosters. I actually like microfibre cloths (that I use between the nappy and the wrap) that cost only a few pence in any supermarket. They absorb more than most bulky boosters but are much thinner.
Yes, you can make boosters from layers of old towels too.

I use old flannels and microfibre cloths and just fold them in half. I wouldn't go to the trouble of sewing lots of layers together - it will only make them slower to dry. Hmmm... shouldn't really be saying things like that given that I sell boosters, should I?
