Liz Hurley has sparked controversy after saying only slim women should wear tight clothes.

The actress, who recently launched her own line of beachwear, was asked what fashion she would ban, reports the Mirror.

She said: "Anything that is too small or too tight, unless you're slim and toned. I'm sick of seeing flab bulging out all over."

Liz, 40, also warned: "Bare legs in a mini-skirt can look dodgy at any age."

But women critics attacked her comments as "appalling".

She has also revealed she ate 6 raisins a day when losing her baby weight!

If she did say this then I think its terrible, however, I am inclined to think that quite often her words have been twisted as well. Surely she just wouldnt be so silly as to say something like this, unless she really needs the publicity for some reason!

Mmmm ..... may be an awful thing to say ... but I think I agree! I like clothes to cover my lumps and bumps, not attract attention to them!

All the celeb mags seem to have 'too skinny' celebs on the front this week, whioch I think is good to highlight that there is such a thing as too thin!!

It may seem contreversial but she has got some good points - too tight and too small clothes do look daft and the same for mini skirts.

I think it look silly seing someone with a bulging belly wearing a cropped top and a thong showing at the back. It looks tacky (I don't mean to upset anyone but it is amazing the sites you see while working in a shop)

Well she's got to get into the public eye somehow and making silly statements is a quick and easy way of doing it I guess . . . .
I don't like seeing exposed fat (especially my own!) and I do think that some of the fashions look horrible no matter what size a woman, nobody wants to see your bum crack!

Oh typical that the newspapers make a big deal about it, but a lot of what she says is right. I have nothing against larger women but I do think that dressing in tight fitting clothes with bulges hanging over hipster jeans is not the most pleasant sight. What a shame that Liz Hurley is having to take the flak for something that quite a lot of us think is a normal statement. Did anyone watch Grumpy Old Men, this was one the things they all spoke about but it didn't reach the tabloids and none of them were made to feel that their statements were contraversial.

Now, I think I better get me coat.................. ;)
