Please tell me I did the right thing???

I was sat outside last night with my sister (well early hours really)
Ds joined me and told me that he had heard my best mate’s dd was pregnant, he said he wasn’t sure if it was true or just a rumour.
I stewed all night then decided I had to tell my friend. she said she doubts very much that she is because her dd text her the other day for her to get her some tampons, she was fine with me telling her, actually she was grateful…but feel bad now for telling her, have I worried her needlessly? Gawd I feel rotten.

Try not to worry - I think you did the right thing by telling your friend what you had heard.

If nothing else, she should be able to stop the rumour now, if it isn't true, and if it is, well, at least she will know.

Thats what I thought too, if it had been about mine I would want to know even if it wasn't true, I would want to stop the rumour too.
