I heard that she was improving. I didn't know about the baby - that is wonderful news. I also read the prime suspect had killed himself

She's fantastic isn't she. What courage she must have, lots of us would have given up in the begining. I'm sure the doctors are saying that she could make a good recovery. I just hope that one day she is able to walk again, she looks as if she leads such an active life.

I heard she was improving and was being moved to the spinal ward. Great news!
Haven't heard anything about her pregnancy since the assult, so that is even better news to know that the baby is ok.
I understood they were showing her several photos of suspects, and she hadn't identified the guy that took the overdose ....

Read in todays paper that the police have found conclusive evidence that he was their man. She pointed out an area to them where a car was that he was in. They found in that exact spot his tyre mark. Also they got some specialist dogs in who found his scent at the scene.
Let's hope it was him

I spotted this yesterday in the paper, it's fantastic news. They were saying she's 12/13 weeks pregnant (same as me!) so she was only a few weeks when the attack happened. :crossfingers: she keeps recovering as well as she has done.

I have also heard that she is talking has anyone else heard this. My Mum said she'd heard about it and that she is sitting supported in a chair any ideas?

On the BBC report is said that Mrs Witchalls is now able to breathe without a ventilator and can sit up in a chair for short periods.
Think she can say a little, also.
Hope she continues to improve and makes a full recovery.
