I thought I'd post an update on me because since we moved, I haven't quite been able to get back in the swing of posting - it's bizarre, I still read every day but find myself deleting my posts half way through because they seem so pointless, I don't know why.
Anyway, I thought I'd post an update on what's happening here.
Our house sale hasn't completed yet (we moved 5 weeks ago 20061008 ) and the buyers have been asking awkward questions, picking at everything, demanding indemnity policies for an extension that's over 30 years old...and using every kind of tactic to delay the transaction and cause us more grief. Anyway, we are told that the contracts should be exchanged early next week (it was going to be today) and completion more or less the same day - so I'm keeping everything crossed smiledance .
The house we are renting is being auctioned on 6th June, but I believe there has been no interest in it, so if it doesn't sell, it will probably be repossessed. We should be safe until the end of September though (we hope) but we're not relishing moving again, to say the least.
Business has been ok since we moved - not brilliant, but still up on last year, which is great! I've decided to take the bull by the horns though, and do my own shop - I've learnt a bit of html and the new shop is almost ready to go live which is really exciting (although a bit scary without the safety net of Arianna), but eventually it will be a very similar site to Tadpoles, so the 2 will complement each other well and I always wanted to do my own eventually!
Sorry to ramble, I'll be contributing more to the forum hopefully now I'm back in the swing.
