Hi all,
I am looking for a new accountant.
I have been using DPs but he is leaving the company now.
I would ideally prefer one I can speak with by email as well as phone.
Any recommendations? Do you know any WAHMs who do this?

unless you don't mind the 400 odd mile journey up north every so often

I'm not an accountant but am a fully qualified bookkeeper. I'm a virtual bookkeeper and have client's from down south all the way up to Scotland. I offer e-mail support and some limited phone support - only in emergencies but if you leave a voice mail I do ring you back or if you ask me to ring you I do so.
If you want, you can e-mail me: arianna @ ihelm-enterprises.co.uk (take out the spaces) and I can let you know how I work - I do have a website and a web page that says how I work but I've not made it live yet, but I'll happily give you the link if you'd like.
HTH!

I used an accountant in Northampton for 5 years, who I never had to meet!!! He was good, and very patient with my inefficiency. Happy to give you the number/website details if you want them.

I have a fab one but in S Wales! It is well worth you having one. Saves loads of bother and they think of things you never would have.
Hope you find one!

If we can work via post/email/phone (and I'm on several IM networks...) then dh (WAHD ;) ) does small business accounts :)
