cheaper slings are the coorie pouch ones, which I'm sure trogette sells as well as little possums, and they are great for new to sling peeps too

Actually I don't have coories, www.brightsparkslings.com is their home :) I do stock sleepytoes which are made by a WAHM in Leeds

Sorry, had to laugh at 2nd pic on the link - the catalogue mummy laughing on the phone - if I thought one of those would have given me 5 mins peace to talk gaily on the phone I'd have bought it!!!

I've just got one of these as a sample, but I've yet to maske my mind up about it. I don't see the advantage over a normal stretchy wrap like a Moby. Will try it out a bit more and let you know what I think...

That was what I wondered too- whether there was any advantage over a wrap. I think a friend of mine might get to try one out so looking forward to having a try.

Well I did see one but Trog wouldn't let me put DD in it cause she wanted to keep it looking smart to loan out.

First impressions were 'erm arggh looks complicated' but it is very simple really. If Trogs neighbour doesn't buy it I might get to put DD in it eventually so I can see what I think of the weight distribution.

Well I've had a pretty good play with it now, and really can't see any advantage over a stretchy wrap like the Moby. It's lovely and soft, and very nicely marketed, but over-complicated, when essentially it carries the baby just like a Moby Wrap does. And the Moby is £20 cheaper!

it is esentially similar to the loopi too which at least has the benefit that it is not sewn together so can be used as a pouch and for hip carries.
