Who has been watching? Ive seen bits here and there but DH has been watching it loads! We have had a really good day today and won load of golds and Matthew Pinsent nearly set me off when he was in tears after they won..lol!

Haven't been able to watch all of it but have caught up with the late progs.I was gonna get up and watch the rowing but woke up just after they finished.

Shame about Paula Radcliffe she seemed to be a big hopeful for us.Did you see the womens heptathlon? Kelly Sotherton did a great job to get bronze and was nailbittingly of silver.

Roll on tomorrows 800 metres and good luck to Kelly Holmes.

I saw Paula Radcliffe and felt so sorry for her, almost cried myself!!

Hope Kelly Holmes does well tomorrow but Im surprised at Denise Lewis pulling out!

Seen bits n bobs but only bit I watch without fail is the Horse jumping and 3 day eventing.

YAY Well done to Kelly Holmes,she really deserved the win.

I tried to avoid the results at work so I could watch at 10.30 but they gave it out on the news :cry:

Watched anyway and was cheering her on,dh said "Why are you shouting you know the result" :grin:

Yes we were! At our friend's 25th wedding anniversary celebrations - most of the guests were gathered around three seperate TVs (too many people for just one TV). The noise in the house was phenomenal! ::clap:: Great news for Kelly (and at 34!) ::banana::
