I've got a load of Usborne books from when I did Usborne Books at Home and I need to shift them - I've had some on my site and tried various for sale boards / HWKs specials with limited success - I now want rid and the space back so I can fill it with proper stock!
I can figure out the listing and that they charge a fixed fee + a % if it sells. What happens about postage?
Thanks

they add a fixed price per book in addition to the price you want to sell the book for to cover P&P, hope that makes sense

You don't pay to list on Amazon, and I think listings stay on there for 60 days. They then send you an email asking if you want to re-list it (again it is free). You can do this as often as you like.
When you do sell they charge the buyer for postage, but then take quite hefty fees off you. If you are lucky then the postage and fees cancel each other out and they give you what you were asking for the book (although obviously still have to post it out of that money). When you are listing it, they tell you how much you will receive when you enter how much you want for it, so you always know whether it is worth it before you confirm your listing.
Do use the specific ISBN. I bought a book from a marketplace seller and it was actually an older edition than the one I thought I was purchasing as they had listed it based on the title and author rather than the ISBN. It really annoyed me, even though it was probably a genuine mistake.
I've sold lots of things through Amazon - including books, CDs and DVDs. In fact I received £50 for a Fantasia DVD that someone else sold on ebay at the same time and they only got £12.50!
