Used to love them when I could go with my mum, we used to always have a greasy burger from a van on the way home. I don't even know where they have them around here so I haven't been to one since 1999.

Love too - but not so many bargains nowadays as I use to get (originally got the kids bikes for under a fiver) -nowadays I always seem to pick up the toy with vital missing bits - also people put the price up on their things - no offence to anyone who does bootsales.

You just come back with stuff you dont need though (well I always do!!)
There is a guy at our local one who does fab kitchen things though- and there is also a cadburys stall (all new stock!!)

I love boot sales, buying and selling.
It's not so easy to find a bargain these days, but if you are willing to rummage, it's surprising what you find.
I resell alot of it on ebay, with a tidy profit.
The kids love the boot sales too.
It's a cheap family morning out for us.

I hate them. Would only ever go to one if I was trying to sell my unwanted items.

I love them, BC we used to go loads and always picked up a bargain or what we needed. Have had some fab things including a really expensive Italian expresso coffee machine for a fiver, it would have been around £100 new and it's perfect except the jug is missing but I have a jug so no problem. We got our big wicker crib from a boot sale too and it's done both babies for £6 though I did recover it with the spare material from my bridesmaids dresses.

Don't get to go much these days, it's terrible going with the kids because they just want every single thing they see so its easier not to go.

I sold at one this morning. Got rid of a load of stuff that wasn't worth ebaying and made £72!!! Not bad for a mornings work. I only do one a year. Our local boot sale is fab as there are no traders. You can pick up quite new DVDs for £1 each. Great for filling the cupboards with rainy day bits and pieces for the kids too!

LOVE THEM!!!

Dp says he isn`t pikey enough to buy stuff at a car boot yet he will gladly go and get stuff from freecycle. Where is the logic in that? lol
