I was amazed at how the Tommy guy came on so strong to the reporter ! Do you know anyone who is a scientologist ?

amazing how odd they seem, and claiming that it isnt a cult... following, intimidation.. doesnt sound good..

We watched it. I can't believe so many so called 'ingelligent' people believe in it! Scary really. Sad for the people who've lost loved ones to the cult.

We watched it - that Tommy guy was really intimidating and I can completely understand why the reporter lost it with him, I think you can only take so much stalking, spying, dictating and being completely talked over. I wasn't really interested in the 'religion' (use the term loosely so Toni doesn't get sued!) but this report has completely terrified me - I worry for any vulnerable person who they get their claws into.

I think I found the whole "detaching" thing the most worrying. I felt for the man who had a dying father and his other children didn't talk to him anymore .... where is the "good" in that ? I thought the core basis of religion was about being good people and helping others.
