This is going to sound a really stupid question but what happens when you go to a trade show as a visitor? What do you need to take with you? I have registered but it said I need to take along proof of business.

I just took some business cards with me.

and they don't often have time to quiz every visitor o their business credentials LOL!

I have never taken anything but you could take a suppliers invoice or business cards as Chell said.
