DH uses this quite a lot when trying to find out stuff. He used it on the weekend to track down the priest who married us. LOL

I love the waybackmachine - it's great for research (and if you're generally nosy like me!)

Here was my second site - http://web.archive.org/web/20030412220441/http://www.identikids.co.uk/ - April 2003. Just going to see if I can find my first one - it must have had a different web address.

Yup here it is - this was my starting website which I was so proud of at the time - I loved the logo - did it myself and it took hours and hours!!

Thanks for posting this link, I had forgotten about the way back machine and it is great to step back and see how far things have progressed - in terms of product offering as well!

Ehem that clip art style logo took weeks of perfecting :cheesy:

Just showed DH it and have had a good giggle at how completely unprofessional it all was back then!

It's amazing really isn't it at how the internet / computer expectations have changed drastically over the last few years. I'm sure when you did that design it was 'typical' of a lot of internet businesses.

Yes it was typical, we were saying yesterday how easy it is now to get something semi decent on line with an investment of just £100 - I am setting up another site at the moment using the ekmpowershop and it is really fab and just £20 a month, dead easy and can look quite professional with a bit of playing.

Or there are the templates too which can give a nice look without too much investment.

As a starting point those are all quite good, obviously they aren't a patch on the shops produced by the likes of Sadie, Alison, and so on ...
