Julian McMahon is the latest star to be rumoured to be the next James. The Nip/Tuck star joins a list of leading men that are reportedly being considered for the role. Orlando Bloom, Jude Law, Clive Owen and Ewan McGregor have all been linked with replacing Pierce Brosnan reports E! online.
However, there has been speculation that Brosnan could still be persuaded to star in the 21st Bond film which is pencilled in for release on November 18, 2005. The film's producers have agreed on a plot and writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who wrote the last two Bond pics, turned in the first draft of their script last week.
