My boy is just over 3 months and he's already wearing shorts that are for 12 - 18 months - it's probably his nappy but he is only wearing size 1 totsbots fluffle, gonna have to get him size 2 soon so guess he'll need even larger ones - anyone has the same probs with getting trousers/shorts?

Extortionate! I've managed to avoid them so far. I find that the elasticated wasted tracky bottoms style trousers fit best. The ones that look more tailored and have poppers at the front are just too tight to get over his bum.
My problem now is that although Edmund is quite tall for his age (75th centile), his legs are quite short for his age (9-12 months NEXT are too long for him). So, some 9-12 months trousers are short enough for his little legs but too small around the waist - never mind the nappy I can't even fasten them on his bulging tum! While the 12-18 months trousers hang off the end of his feet and trip him up as he is attempting to cruise the room. Aaargghhh!!! LOL

friendlybaby - I wanna avoid buying them as them..they are just far too expensive..we bought a Minibasix romper for H from tkmaxx the other day and have just put it on him, it fits very well because the cut is quite wide, it's a set with a little hat =) only paid about £5 for it I think~

i had this prob with ds#2, he is quite small but I always had probs with the his bottom being big even tho fuzzis are quiye trim
I just got rid of a pair of cut for cloth dungarees, no one wanted to buy them from me so just put them a charity bag!
Not sure if I have anymore, I think I only brought a couple.
The CFC vests are worth buying tho, good quality and very good fit.

Theer are a few brands that are quite generous too - Tesco, mothercare and I *think* Adams but not sure - H ave used tesco and mothercare myself. Apparently Next are the slimmest cut and not so great for cloth bots :)
