or rather what inspired ur company logo?
I have my logo in my head....and i know what i want...but i just wondered what made you chose the logo that you have?
is it something that you created or did you tell someone else what you were after and they did it for you?

I had this cool cerise and turqoiuse make-up bag that I loved. I showed a picture to Daffs and she came up with my logo. I loved it and it was spot on. I wanted something a bit retro and bright.
I couldn't have done it myself!

I designed our logo myself. No idea why I chose a shooting star - but I just sat down one night and started playing around with various things an drew it.

I came up with my ideas - I wanted something 'learny' and something for the sheep. My designer (my sister) did the incorporating! The green came as we realised that we needed a colour for the jigsaw piece and having any other colour behind the sheep looked silly as sheep should be on grass!

I drew my logo - The whole thing is a heap of reasons lol :D
The rainbow & star are all about colour, variety, choice, order, rhythm & wishful thinking !! Silky's head is representational of the main site character (the paw print 'S' is kind of her signature  ) & the name Silkysteps means tentative steps into the unknown ....
Don't think it really expresses what the site actually offers .. more my own views on what I hope it's a platform for !
EDIT : The registered logo is different to the top logo onsite - the 'official ® logo is this one (http://www.silkysteps.com/images/banners/Silkysteps-Logo.gif)~ apparently it was too big as a header so carriers itself on all the other branded goods instead :D lol !

I tendered the job out via elance.com and ended up working with a fantastic man in Michigan. (much cheaper than UK designers). I gave a really vague brief and he created the most wonderful logo (well I love it!). I knew I wanted music notes, jellybeans and organic colours. I ended up with a little family, music notes in the same colours as the beans so it looks as if they have sung them all in lovely child friendly non gender specific colours.
If I was'nt so useless I'd post the picture, but I'm still working on the website etc. Elizabeth

I just wanted a baby that looked friendly and ended up with two babies that look friendly. Did try one black and one white baby, but that looked too United Colours of Benetton, so reverted back to two white babies. Not sure that two babies represents 'friendlybaby' that well, maybe I should have gone for 'friendlybabies'!
