Screen resolution?

What screen resolution do you have?

I was using 1024 x 768 and my site looked a bit squewiff - apparently the templates are set for a resolution of 1280 x 1024.

On this resolution, the site looks great and perfectly balanced.

So my question is - what screen resolution do you use? I thought my screen resolution settings were perfectly acceptable but it seems not?

I'm running at 1600 x 1200 but I'm considered odd for doing it.

1920 x 1200 so probably even more odd.

Mine's 1024 x 768 too!

Mines on 1152 x 864 - god knows why, think hubby set it and it seems fine to me

I still use 1024x768, even though I have a large screen, I can see everything better.

I have found there are lots of people with larger screens now and they tend to use a highr resolution. Websites never look the same to everyone anymore.

1024 * 768 is the most common screen res these days - over 50% of users have that resolution.

15% use 800 * 600, the rest higher (or unknown in the surveys).

ps - from my last month of stats usage is as follows:

85.71% 1024x768
6.12% 1280x1024
3.06% Unknown
3.06% 1152x864
2.04% 800x600

Personally I use 1280 * 1024 on my pc, my laptops a 1400 widescreen.

I use 1024 by 768 - Dh uses one higher and I can barely read anything on his screen. LOL

My stats should 49% on 1024 x 768 but surprisingly almost 30% had the resolution I have just set mine to.
