My boy uses tots bots fluffle + thick paper liner but gets very bad nappy rash, we have been using sudocream but just read from previous threads that it's no good with cloth?? We have bepenthene at home too so will give that a try and see what happens..I really don't know whether it's the nappy or the liner that is causing the bad nappy rash..we do sometimes use disposables (when we run out of cloth or sometimes when we go out but we use the eco ones) and he doesn't get any rash with them, but with the fluffle nappy rash is guranteed..I am due to buy him the next size up but am really thinking about whether I should or not..I really want to stick with cloth but then I really can't decide..any idea??

I'm personally not a fan of the concept of a fluffle in the Summer months. I wouldn't wear 100% polyester pants - particularly in the Summer - just brings to mind hot and sweaty. Yuk! It may be that that is causing the rash.

Try a natural fabric like cotton or bamboo, depending on your circumstances. Hopefully you are likely to get less nappy rash. You could also try a silk liner - sounds odd but is good at treating nappy rash too.

I review all of the nappies on their individual pages on my site, so if you would like a guide then have a quick look.

I'm a fan of Bamboozles, although they don't suit everyone. I think bamboo is fantastic as it is natural, very eco friendly, has naturally anti-bacterial properties, stays soft even when washed in hard water. However, it takes a long time to dry and is more expensive.

Each child responds differently to different nappy creams. I know some people that have really raved about some creams while others think they are awful. I prefer something a bit more natural since the chemicals are absorbed by the skin.

Anyway, I hope you find some of that helpful. I'm not trying to do a marketing campaign on you just that my site already explains some of it better then I can here.

could it be the washing powder you use?

I also read that its letting babys lay with out a nappy on for a bit is good for nappy rash ... but remember to put a towel underneath just in case.

other than that, perhaps try a diff liner, I use silk liners at night and they are fab.

Thanks to you all for your advice~ I am seriously thinking about buying Bamboozle now, I was thinking about fluffle or bamboozle but decided to go for fluffle because of its fast drying time. So now have to think about whether to go for velco or popper..decision time again..
