Why is the mother blaming school, IMO its HER responsibility!!
To me it looks like the older two thought it was a good idea and got pg on purpose !!

We heard about this back home last year (as I'm from 10miles down the road in Burton-on-Trent) and IMO all the girls are doing it cos babies are the latest accessory(sp) !! The thing is the mum is just indenial and wont have it that her girls got pg and is just finding someone to blame.. yes maybe sex education is not too good in shcool but what parent in their right ming would leave it to the school to educate their kids about sex??? I knew about how babies were made when I was 6yrs old!! And as soon as i was having sex I told my parents and my mum sorted out me going on the pill! Its just irresponsibilty from the mother and the kids!! I mean fair enough the older one is 16 and it wasnt so bad but then for the younger 2 to get pg theats just plain stupid... the mother should of made sure itwasn't going to happen!!

i read about these children today. unfortunately it is all too common, especially where i live (2nd highest teen pg rate in country :o ) i think that a lot of its down to the fact that they dont have a proper family life & want to have a baby to love & to love them because they dont get that unconditional love & support at home.
sad really :(

A bit more of the story from the fathers point of view

EXCLUSIVE: PREGNANT TEEN SISTERS' DAD BLAMES MOTHER
By Nathan Yates And Steve McComish Exclusive
THE appalled father of three sisters who gave birth after conceiving at 12, 14 and 16 blamed their mum last night.
Rubbishing Julie Atkins' claim that the girls' school was at fault for failing to give proper sex education, 42-year-old carer Martin Dodd said: "How can she say that? It's not the school's fault. It's hers.
"If this had happened to one of them you'd have said it was an accident. But for three of them to do it there's something badly wrong. It's a ludicrous situation."
Martin did not even know he was a grandad until he read the story of the girls, who with their mother receive £31,000 benefits year.

Claiming he has been prevented from seeing his daughters for three years, he
said: "If Julie hadn't cut me out of their lives this wouldn't have happened. I could have done something to stop this.
"They're lovely, intelligent children. It's awful to see them like this. They've ruined their lives and thrown their futures away.
"I can't understand why Julie was pictured smiling. It's nothing to be proud of."
Martin is the father of daughters Jemma and Jade Williams, aged 14 and 15.
Jemma conceived at 12 after sleeping with David Ryan, 14. She gave birth to son T-Jay in February last year and was accused yesterday of denying David access.
Jade became pregnant at 14 after a one-night stand. She gave birth to daughter Lita in December.
Martin was also stepfather to Natasha, Julie's daughter from an earlier relationship. She gave birth to daughter Amani in November after conceiving at 16. The father is 38.
Natasha, now 18, has already had an abortion and two miscarriages.
Martin lived with Julie until the mid-1990s, when the couple split amicably. They continued to live near each other in Portsmouth and Martin would often see the girls.
But things soured after Martin met current wife Janice in 1995. He said: "Julie stopped me having anything to do with my daughters. I got court orders and everything. But she moved away.
"I haven't seen Jade or Jemma for three years. It breaks my heart. Now I see them in the paper with their lives ruined. My door is always open for them. They're welcome to come here any time they like."
Yesterday twice divorced Julie, 38, who lives with her girls in a three-bedroomed semi in Derby, came in for further criticism.
Sue Cattle, the second wife of Julie's father Bob, said at her home in Poole, Dorset: "Bob doesn't know whether to be angry, upset or what.
"He told his daughter a long time ago about what he thought. Things like this can happen once in any family, but three times..."
Meanwhile, David Ryan's mother Christine claimed her son was prepared to go to court to gain access to his son T-Jay. Mum Jemma has claimed David "didn't want to know" about the child.
But Christine hit back: "I'm fuming. Jemma changed her phone number after the baby was born and won't let David see him.
"David loves that child dearly, as we all do. Now the question of access is in the hands of solicitors."
Detectives have refused to rule out a criminal inquiry into the cases of Jemma and Jade as both were under the age of consent.
Police said: "If a sexual offence was committed and we receive a complaint then we'd investigate."
It is believed the girls and their mother could be questioned by a specially trained officer and given advice about "future conduct".
Yesterday Julie again insisted: "We're not scroungers." The family pays no rent. Julie gets £250 a week in state handouts, while Natasha pockets £120 a week. Each baby has free nursery care.
Julie said: "If I had the choice I'd go to work, but I don't have that choice. I have to look after the babies when the kids are at school.
"They're all good mothers who love their children. I won't turn my back on them. I'm proud of them."
Bemrose Community School, in Derby, which Julie accused over sex education,
said: "Like all schools we have such a policy. It is inappropriate to discuss individuals."

 There is just not getting thru to some people is there. I've even more angry with this woman now i have read this thread!!! How can she say she is PROUD of her daughters when they got pregnant at such an early age, and if those babies have free child care available, then WHY IS SHE STAYING HOME TO LOOK AFTER THEM! She is a blinkin scrounger, and it's all of us that have to pay our taxes that are supplying them the the means to stay home and do nothing. Sorry, ranting now! :sign07:
