Do spiders/robots add things into carts?

I have someone adding items to their cart totalling £2629.48!!

would be nice if it is a real customer

yes they do add things to carts, I've seen them on my site before now and got excited but soon realised it wasn't a real customer, would have been nice if it was!

yes, i've had one rack up a few thousand pounds a few times. I've got one that constantly adds one then goes to the shipping page at the moment!
