Alternative phone!

I use SKYPE at the moment but tbh its not very professional when I am speaking to people and it goes all hissy!

I have a BT line but used homecall at the moment for my phone calls. Can anyone recommend what to go for. I do have spare mobiles phones I could use but the problem is where I am not calling out on them often the numbers dont stay live!

Have a look at www.voipfone.co.uk - aparantly you can get calls forwarded to your home phone but can also do things like set office hours. I'm looking at it myself at the moment. If you go to the forums section there is a faq about how it all works and the different options.

I use uk2numbers and have the business calls diverted through a second mobile - this has the added benefit of caller id.
I paid a £100 deposit and I also get charged monthly a fee for incoming calls.

I had about 1 week of skpe and could not bear it, its noisier than being in a loud room with a bad mobile connection, then there are always the times when it just cuts you off!
