There are some lovely people on ebay!!

I was selling big ds's mobile and was scammed twice by a nigerian, anyway put it on again and unknown to me big ds sold the phone not knowing I had relisted it, went through ebay live help and they said as only 12hours left I couldnt end listings just told me to keep cancelling bids which I did, anyway the people wasnt getting the message and kept bidding,lol and then I got a payment for £26.50, emailed the seller and explained and he just asked for a refund which I did but I was charged £1.40 for the fees so after refunding him I emailed to say as it was my fault I would refund the £1.40 or whatever if he could tell me how, and jkust received this back:
Many thanks for your messege and refund very honest of you.Please dont worry about anything at the end we got it all sorted out, these things happen.
Please enjoy your ebay and dont let this put you off, it does happen, going to leave you posertive feedback which you truley derserve.

when I was paid the money ebay charge me £1.40 or £1.10 cant remember maybe because i am not verified or the other member wasnt verified not sure but a lot of the time it costs me if people pay via paypal

Yes you get charged to receive money by paypal but when you refund the money they refund the charge too. It's nothing to do with being verified.

How nice! I've been lucky and only had the one unfortunate incident (still unresolved :angry: ) but it does restore a little faith in ebay when people react in that way.
