Do you think its important to have a domain name ending in .co.uk or .com or .net and to appeal worldwide do you think its important to have a .net or .com name rather than just a .co.uk?

Personally, I am not really bothered what the TLD is - other than giving me a clue as to the origin of a site (ie you would expect .uk to be British, org for charities etc.)
If I am searching for information, I would probably look at a .co.uk before a .com though ...

Ok thanks for that Netty. I cant have the .com anyway  but I was wondering whether to get the .net for mumszone.

I normally search the .uk first then followed by the rest of them.
Mind you not that i really pay that much attention i just click on whatever google throws up!!

Hi Toni
Personally I rarely think of using the .net extension - and in the past have got very confused in trying to find a site with a .net as it wasn't a .co.uk or .com (my first avenues of choice).
I have both glassraven.com and .co.uk - using the .com most of all (though considering whether to start using the .co.uk more as even though I do deal internationally most of my business is UK based...). I've not bothered with the .net
Have you considered mumzone (ie without the s) as that would IMO be a more commonly tried than mumszone.net

I have to agree with the majority here and say I would choose a co.uk over .com.
If its a UK based company you know the info on there is relevant to you
