The problem then is we think they haven't noticed and get annoyed with them.

When we were courting I bought a lovely sliky sexy nighty and negligee I put it on and waited expectantly for him to come to bed he didn't even notice I was so peed off I took it back (only wore it for few mins) He wondered why I was so narky, he said if I came to bed in a black bag it would make no difference, now I don't know if that was meant to be a compliment or not? I think he meant just fancied me not what i wore!!!
