Well it depends on what nappies you use.

I use fuzzi's on my son which are reasonably well stuffed but i buy most of my clothes for him in Asda and i don't seem to have any problems.

I have found Next to be on the small side and just will not fit.

If the clothes are too tight they can make nappies leak too by squeezing the wee out of the nappy and cause wicking round the legs.

There are a few companys that make clothes specially for clothies you just have to look around.

sometimes i buy the next age up for owen knowing that the nappy will hold the trousers up!!

we tried the next size up but hes all body and no legs and very skinny so they look silly on him
i just feel that if goverments are trying to promotee clth nappies maybe they should start gettin retailers to make clothes for cloths rather than disposables

I expect the manufacturers will catch on soon enough

Hi,

My name is Lisbeth and I used to use Weenies with prefolds and had real problems with clothes. My daughter is really petite and especially finding trousers when she was crawling and starting to walk was a problem.

It frustrated me so much that I decided to start a website selling clothing for cloth nappied babies. http://www.tinkertogs.co.uk has only been up and running a few weeks and I would love feedback on the site.

I hope to hear from you.

Lisbeth (and her opinionated 19 month old)

Thanks for posting that Lisbeth. Erika that used to do these clothes has changed the business that she does now so its nice to know of someone that still does clothes for clothies

:Hello2: just seen this thread, Fiona at http://www.weegreenies.co.uk does some trousers designed specifically for cloth bottomed babies and although they are not cheap, they last well and have proven their worth for us in the past. I will be getting some for nipper 3 when it arrives.

Hi there

Hope this is ok to post, but we sell lots of clothes that will fit over cloth nappies - found it very frustrating myself, hence setting up the business.
