how many of u guys have sent postal orders to people to pay for ur e-bay items.. i won a jumper for ds and the seller didnt have paypal account and asked me to send p.order, a wk later she said it didnt arrive, so i sent another 1, and she says this 1 hasnt arrived either, how can 2 p.orders to the same person and address go missing twice.. i find it very strange.. she now wants me to transfer money into her bank account, and keeps e-mailing me for payment.. im totally getting p=== off. ive already sent £20 in postal orders the jumper i won was only £5 for god sake........

That is ridiculous - do you still have your receipts when you purchased the PO's ? If you do, go down to the Post Office and ask them to check whether they have been cashed or not. They are all electronically recorded now.
I wouldn't send any more money.

I agree with Lemon, the PO can tell if they've been cashed or not

I accept postal orders and have never had a problem. I would definately check if they've been cashed and if they haven't you can get your money back. What is the sellers feedback like?

i e-mailed the seller and said i was not really happy about sending another payment, and was joking and said i find it strange the 2 p.orders can go missing to the same address, i said maybe she has a dodgy postman. she e-mailed back saying that i was accusing her of keeping them..( well somethinks strange). then she said " well im not happy about having to wait for payment for this amount of time" like its my fault!!!!!!! maybe they have just gone missing??????? ive never had this problem b4, i send cheques in the post everymonth 2 pay for credit card bills etc, and theyve never got lost.. the 1st time i sent her p.order, i sent my friends baby a tommy hilfiger top in the post for his arrival present and that was £30.00 that arrived in devon 2 days later.. i dont know why 2 postal orders for £10 each are going missing on there journey to worcester..... both postal orders have the sellers name on them so only the named person would be able to cash them right???? and surely they would need some kind of i.d when they did cash them.... maybe i should send again put by recorded delivery this time???????????? i dont want any negative feedback on my account as ive only just really started buying from e-bay.

I won some jumpers for josh in january and sent postal orders, she said she didnt get them, so i sent a cheque, she did get the cheque and sent an extra jumper in the package.
We have got and filled out the forms from the post office to see what could of happened to the postal orders but havent heard anything yet.

I agree with Lemon
I would have sent her an email saying that I was rather concerned that the money had gone missing and say that I appreciate that she is waiting for money but state that you are out of pocket. Ask for a little bit more time if you still want to go ahead, but ask if on this occasion you could perhaps cancel the transaction by mutual agreement. If she does leave you negative feedback you can always try and get it removed.
Just stay polite and say that you are actually the one that is out of pocket and you were more than happy to pay but feel that in this instance it is not a good idea to send more money.
What is her feeback like?
