stupid Q reg combined postage

ive bidded for a number of items from the same seller who says she will combine postage.
hopw does that work?
how do i pay? does she send me an invoice? how will that clear the ''pay now'' bit my end?
i like to pay straight away and want it all done and out the way, or will it be straight forward when the time comes lol?

Sometimes it will automatically combine postage for you when you try to pay, if it doesn't and the postage is too high then you can request the total from the seller and then they will send you an invoice as Wokkies says. Some of my auctions don't automatically combine postage and it's a pain and I always alter it when I send the invoice but you'd be amazed how many people just pay the full postage price because they pay me before I have chance to send the invoice!

im feeling really guilty this morning, i got a dolls travel cot and bouncy chair for 99p the postage i paid was £3.00, the seller actually paid £5 odd for postage, so she lost out, and the goods are in perfect condition :unsure:

I depends if the seller knows what they are doing or not and if they definately offer combined postage which you say yours does. They shouldn't have to go to the post office - if they are a regular seller they will be up to date with the postage costs and will estimate. For instance most of my postage is around £1.50 per item but for additional items I only charge another 75p - that should be calculated at checkout but it doesn't always work that way. On my bibs I charge £1.25 postage plus an extra 25p for each additional bib but if they buy bibs where there is only one left available on each auction it will charge the full price of £1.25 each and add the postage up to £2.50 and it's a pain!
Does the seller actually state what the lesser amount is?

i read her feedback and other customers said that she combined postage for them.
ive sent her a message. i haven't won the items yet (3-5 hours to go)
im assuming she will say yes...just getting myself prepared so i know what to do/expect
waiting for her to reply, which she might not do til the auction has finished :crossfing

Oooh just a tip hun - it's always best to check postage and any queries before you bid on items as it can save any confusion or ill feeling afterwards. I always ask for combined postage but yesterday I won two items really cheap and just didn't have the heart to ask for cheaper postage so I just paid it. I've have people moan at me about postage costs in the past after they've received the items!!
Best to check first then there's no misunderstanding on anyone's part.

i don't even mind paying the full postage on them, i just saw she done it for someone else and didn't want to miss out :cheesy:
i got a bargain this morning, the seller lost out on £2 postage so i can't really complain. and i would have quite happily paid up to £5 for the goods, which i got for 99p lol
