What have you found is the best way to promote your own site?

Chatting to loads of people! It makes them want to see what I do :)

Also find a good magazine to advertise in!

Which are the good magazines, at a reasonable cost. I have a new business to promote soon so looking around!

Well I advertised my jewellery site in Wedding Ideas which has been good. I did put Scruffy Mouse in Green Parent but nothing! Suppose people aren't that interested in online cards etc!

I think quite a few of the card makers find promotion a problem.

Depends on what the business is i suppose as to where i would advertise

Personally we have been battering the health visitors and such like and doing personalised mail shots which are proving fantastic.
