We have heating and hot water back!!!!

We have our new boiler!! :party05: :hyper: :party05:

Well the plumbers arrived at 8am this morning and were here till 3.30 and it's all fixed. In fact is better than it was before it broke!!

And this new boiler is lovely and quiet too... :happy72:

Oooh am soo warm.... and it's not even that hot in the house :D

Ooo nice!!! Have you got a combi boiler now?? We've been looking at changing ours from a tank to a combi but are unsure because of the costs involved

Its horrid without heating/hot water, we had none for a week or two last Christmas.

Yes it is a combi, the old one was too - that one was just cheap and nasty though!

This is lovely, so quiet and efficient!

It cost us in total £1700. Yes that's pricey but British Gas had quoted us over £4000 for exactly the same job.... scandalous!!

blimey, wasn't it ages ago that it went? how long have you been without hot water and heating?? and bg are a rip off, they told us a new one would be about £5,000 and we've since seen ad's for less than £2,000!! at least it's all fixed and you're lovely and warm now!! x x x

Yes we didn't have any heating or hot water for TWO weeks, was a nightmare!

Oh well, all fixed now :D

oooh glad its fixed hun! ours packed up last year and we had a whole new system in with new radiators and everything! i loved it! i dont think ive ever had so many baths! the old system was about 30 years old and it clanked all the time and it was touch and go if hot water came out the tap when you turned it on!

so pleased you got it all sorted hunni!
