partition wall

With the arrival of baby number 2 I need to divide our loft room into two so we can half two thirds of it as dd's room, and a little corner to house computer and stuff....

Has anyone put up a partition wall. I think I'd prefer to get someone in to do it rather than us bodge it but have no idea what sort of person does it - carpenter? general builder? Also, does anyone have a very rough idea of costs are we talking £150 or £1500? I have no idea - any help/ advice gratefully received.

think i would get a couple of quotes.but if you know what you are doing then i would do it myself.

my friend has just converted their loft and moved a wall on the landing. they done it themselves but it takes longer as you have to do it around your full time job
