I'm a clothie too! Isobel is only in them at nap times (if she decides to have one) and at night. I'm a stuffie fan for night time use (a bit too bulky for the day) and I love Swaddlebees Organic velour and Swaddlebees hemp. I love hemp inserts too.

I didnt use them with Arron but am intending on using them this time.
I have been holding off buying till i know what flavour bump i am carrying!:D
I have seen some gorgeous ones though.
My initial plan is to use disposables for the first few days till i get my head round being a new mum again and the summer holidays are well underway!
Then i have been advised to use terries as most all in ones / pocket nappies andthe like are not a wonderful fit for new borns.

Just wondered what the veteran users thoughts were on this?

I used bimbles QD for Dd when she was NB, but I did hear of people using Fuzzis for NB and was told that they were fine. We only used the bimbles for max of 4 maybe 5 months I can't remember really, it was not a good idea as it was very expensive as I got mine new, I did sell them 2nd hand and got a ok price for them. I think I would look to buy second hand for NB if doing again. Dd went in cloth from day one and the midwives were all gaga, they thought it was lovely seeing a NB in cloth nappies, they said they never really got to see it anymore.

Bimbles were lovely, with a couple of bright tots bots wraps. Don't forget to see if you can get cash back from your authority.
Good Luck, here if you need advice

PS

I could always meet you in Manchester and show you my fuzzis!

Thanks for that Mama B! Yeah that would be cool - any advice is greatfully received! I am so confused at the minute with what bits i need depending on which style of nappie i choose! I have seen some gorgeous Fuzzi's and am waiting to find out the flavour before i go mad!:cheesy:
