Yes it's true! But it's so hard trying to dispell the myth that cloth nappies are hard work or leaky!! I have to be honest and most of the times when we've had a leakage problem it's on the odd occasion that she's worn a disposable!!

aaawww she looks so proud wearing them.

I think they are a great idea, they look so much easier to use than terry towelling ones, way better for the environment than disposables

i don't have a tumble dryer, won't they turn to cardboard? (most of my washing does!!)

They dry so quickly hun you won't need to tumble dry and no, the fuzzi's or Mommy's Touch shouldnt go hard. It's easy peasy in the summer too, just stick them on the line or on an airer. I went through less cloth nappies with Isobel when I changed over!

chicky can i honestly say to you that today i have used about 1/2 number of cloth nappies on fern that i would using disposables.. today i can honestly tell you that she wore then olive green one (from ebay) last night, changed her into a disposable this morning, then she had 3 more disposables until the real ones arrived at about 1045 this morning. Then i put her in the red one (she had a poo), then changed her into the butter one (about 1230).. then the lilac one (at about 345) then changed her into the blue one and put her to bed!
The nappies that she has worn today are all on my radiator drying, apart from the lilac one which is in the washing machine as we speak!!!

So there, i am totally convinced. Marc and i have both noticed how much happier she is..

I was the biggest scepitc when it came to this, and in less than a week i am convinced that she is happier.. thats all thats important to me!!!

fern is far more comfortable in them, but thats coz she has allergies and eczema and stuff and the chemicals inthe disposable nappies irritate her.. she is far happier though and loving choosing which colour to wear!!!! although its still not easy to get her to wear trousers as she wants to show them off to everyone...

arhh so cute, I love the perriwinkle. That was my very first fuzzi

Really glad that they are working out, if I had known I would have tried to convert you before Sarah had got to you. I do have one convert under my belt, my cousin out her 2 in cloth

Suzi, did you check with you local athority as a lot of them give you money to change my coz got £100 towards the cost of her nappies. It worth everyone checking if they are thinking of trying cloth

Her nappy rash is almost gone! She is happy!!!

but the washing machine died again last night and we need to get some brushes for it today or else i cant wash my nappies!!!! sod the clothes i want to keep going!!!!

was going really well until the washing machine died AGAIN yesterday.. SO we have new washing machine. Nappies now washed and are srying for tomorrow!!!

We have proved that there is an issue with the disposables as we had to put her in a couple of those today and she was SO sore so quickly!!!!!!!
