An idea for my website, what do you think?

I have an idea for my website and would like opinions/critism please.

I am thinking of adding perphaps a couple of pages on the history of wooden toys (individually) what do you think?

Do you think it would be of any interest to anyone (i love history!) and could it perphaps be used for a referance for school projects ?

Would it do any good/harm to my SEO ?

I think it's a good idea! seperates you a bit from other wooden toy sites because not only do you have cool toys but you have information too.

Sounds like a good idea to me - Iknow that my daughter (yr 1) are doing the history of toys at the moment.

i think its a good idea. makes you look like you really know what you are talking about - very professional - makes me think that you are the ONE for wooden toys!

Definitely do it!

As well as all the SEO-type technical stuff, it will show customers that you know and care about your product, which will build confidence and a good point of reference.

You'll probably find that once you start adding artices and information, you'll want to add even more!

No i dont have a blog? not really sure what one is durrr i have heard it being mentioned but not ventured to looking! and your right have started writing and am already thinking of thnd to add to the site! more work lol

I found that once I added more info, the length of time that people stayed increased no end and also they return more often.

Maybe some ideas for games would be good too, like the games we used to play in the play ground. It would bring back memories!

HO ketty, i have lots of info on my site but customers still ask for more - i did do a blog but it seemed to mess with my se positions- plus it was rubbish so i got rid of it and am building an info website instead - well trying to.

It does sound like a good idea to me. People could then know the history behind what they are buying. I think the more information you have the better as then people can feel more informed on the products that they are buying. I have been trying to do something similar in getting mums i know to give me their top tip for other mums to put on my site. People can then look at the site and see that for example so many people though (Product) was a great idea.
