I am SO SO SO SO sick of being treated like an irrelevant small business by some companies!!!!!!
I placed an order with a craft kit company at the toy fair; i had a long chat with the rep, who was very nice and who assured me that placing their small first order was fine and that thry'd get images straight out to me so i could sell their products. i didn't do an account at the time, but she gave me the forms and i paid up front with my card.
They didn't have any qualms about taking my £250.
After a week, i called and requested the images. No promblem they said.,
3 days later i call again. No problem, they said.
Today i call and i'm told that actually i won't be sent them because i paid cash, not on account and that the only way i'll be sent images to use is if i send in my account paperwork and place a further £300 order - "and of course that is quite a lot for a 'small business' " she sneered.
Well no, actually, it isn't. Not if you routinely spend £6000 a month on stockbills :angry-smi123 She did have the grace to falter slightly at that point, but she held her ground.
Just how significantly successful do you have to be before you get treated like a human being by snooty sodding wholesale companies???????
