Well things have been down and up in the Stormfairy Household.
Christmas was difficult business and personally and I sadly had to close my website.
BUT its surprising how things suddenly change and I'm back with a shiney new website (made by me so please be kind) and new exciting plans in development (but I can't talk about them for a few months)
New products will be added very shortly too now I have time to sit and think about them.

It doesn't seem that long since you last posted.
Glad things are on the up again for you - site is lovely - wish i could do that with my zen cart - it is pleasing to the eye.

oh, that so clever, you got the photos to change on the home page or did i get that wrong - despite it being a zen it looks so different to mine.

Think it does that automatically, its not something I've fiddled with
Thanks tho, I've spent a long time on the Zen forums searching for answers in the last couple of weeks

Good luck, what happened to your old site as it looks very similar?

MIne doesn't do that but then mine is over a year old now so maybe an old version.
yep it does look very similar to the old site.
I am just building a joomla - not a cart, its taken me for ever but at last it is ready to add info to and in a few weeks - only a month later than anticipated it will be ready to go.
yes mrs untechnical built a website - it is very basic:hysterica
what was up with the old site?

There was only so much I could change on Zen to start with, I'm very new to it all, so have changed the basics
Will change more as I get more confident with it
There was absolutely nothing wrong with the old site, but it was made by Ihelm and as I've had to change hosters (absolutely no fault of Ihelm's btw) I decided to do a basic change with a view to bigger ones as the site progresses

When i was first shown my zen i nearly cried, it was awful but very soon it changed - i wanted something really simple looking, esasy and straightforwards, a few clicks to the checkout and i got just that - so many people tell me how eay it is to navigate - it had to be because i know how many times i have had struggling to navigate websites.
I was once looking at a realtor site for property in the US with my SIL on the phone, she was telling me where to go when she suddenly asked " Do you not know how to navigate a website" reduced to tears i never forgot this.
So when it came to building my site i wanted it so simple, people who had never naviagted a website before would be able to do it.
