I have work to do. My boss is out at a meeting and I have loads of work which he is expecting to be finished when he gets back. Yet this girl keeps on and on about her love life and wanting me to be her agony aunt. I can't get rid of her and she is boring me to tears. Its the same every week. What can I do to get rid of her?:help10:

Well I just told her to give me 5 minutes to amend this email and then we can go to dinner and she whined. I said look just 5 minutes if he came back and I hadn't done this email he'd hit the roof.
I think she's on a sulk now because she said she's gonna meet me at dinner which means she won't turn up. Oh well, its fun dining alone lol. Back in half an hour guys.:kisshands:

I have heard of people talking out of their backsides but that is a new one :hysterica .
Just keep saying sorry, what? in a vague way and she will soon realise you are not interested.:kisshands:

LOL well she knows I have a cold but that hasn't stopped her. I have tried the vague thing and that hasn't worked either. She has always been like this. She goes on and on about this bloke she sort of had a fling with about a gazillion years ago and has to tell me about all her dates that she has with other guys. What's so annoying though is no matter what advice you give her she always ignores it so why bother?
I'm p'd off with her anyway because she has left me in the lurch at work a couple of times.

No, probably wouldn't work, her friend seems so wrapped up in herself she wouldn't notice. Come to think of it, She could find someone else to bug though, and go on at them how some lesbian at work keeps coming on to her :hysterica

Oh I had a friend like that - (actually she didn't even have a fling with the guy, she was just obsessed) I heard about how wonderful the guy was for years, thing was she didn't know we'd had a fling before she became obsessed......... he wasn't that wonderful!

You are so right about her being wrapped up in herself. She is sitting opposite me waiting for me to give her advice. She has even said "you haven't given me your advice yet". David (my boss) just rang me and gave me another load of work to do. For all I know his meeting could be over and he could be on his way back.
and :hysterica at the lesbian thing, I don't think that will work.
