Newsletters?

I am thinking of doing a newsletter - dont really know why!

Thought I might send it out as extra information when I send a confirmation letter to party host. I know other businesses send it to past party booking hosts. (Dont really see the point in that)

Does anyone have any thoughts on idea. eg who else I could send the newsletter to and what on earth to put in it. I am clueless!!!!!

Could you send out a newsletter say 8 weeks before the childs next birthday as a reminder for them to book their next party.
