Technical question - unique users/stats

Currently there are 4 customers online
Duplicate IP Addresses: 3
Total Unique Users: 1.

this is what i am seeing in admin - yet i know that the 4 customers are not all duplicate ip addresses. Will this info affect my stat results?

I can have 9 customers looking yet it always says Total unique user: 1

is this a fault or does it not really matter?

How do you know that they dont have all the same IP does it show them?

It could be search engines

Yes i can see the ip addresses, they are all different and search engines show up in pink, normal customers are grey.

I can see an ip address and what browser you use and which service provider you are with i think - if btcentralplus is a service provider then yep i can see that - i can then see what pages you are looking at and what items.

it's a fault with the enchanced who's online thing, there's a fix on the oscommerce boards but I haven't bothered sorting it. Wish it would show me the category name!

yep i just get a number which i then have to go and look up.

mine is zen so i wouldn't know where to fix it.
