Grrrr...hubby's moblie. What's the point??!!

I'm so annoyed ATM, Hubby's got one of these state of the art phones that connects to the net, takes pics, does videos, makes you a cup of tea etc etc etc ............. but he never gets a signal on the bloody thing! 9 times out 10 when I ring him, it doesn't connect, & my texts to him pend for hours before they send, What's the point?

Whats the point in having a mobile phone that can do all that other stuff when for the majority of the time he can't make or recieve phone calls?

Which means I can't contact him today, as he's out of the office :fryingpan:

To top it all off, hes always nagging me to upgrade my old nokia (one of the first ones to ever roll off the production line lol) as it's "from the ark" but at least it makes sodding phone calls, you know, the purpose it's intended for!!! :angry:

I've got a stone age Nokia aswell and wouldn't change it !! I only use my phone to make the very occasional call so I just don't need a singing dancing one.

My dh has a super duper one too, must admit his has been pretty good though.

my dh never hears his, he puts these silly ringtones on them that he can't hear if it's not right next to him!!!! x x x

Men eh? Lemon, I'm glad you've still got your stone age (and very reliable ) nokia too! I thought mine was the only one left, was thinking of taking it onto the antiques roadshow! :cheesy:

we had trouble with o2 and orange for signals now on vodafone and no probs at all.

hubby also has a fancy phone one of then blueberry things or is it blackberry can never remember. bloody men and gadgets

my DH gets the all singing all dancing things on his phones and doesnt even know how to use them! D*ck. as long as i can make and receive calls and send the odd text then im happy.

thats the thing with these state of the art phones companies churn them out saying they even wipe your a** and they have to recall them cos of some little defect well i've got the nokia 6230 and i can say it's reliable looks good and the only thing i've replaced is the battery
