Has anyone else read this? My MIL bought it for me as a Christmas present, I'd been wanting to get it but hadn't got round to it so (as I do with everything I'm looking forward to!) I left it to the last of my Christmas books to read.
As soon as they bought that dog I was hooked, it was like reading about my mums dog, Andy. I laughed as I read the antics he got up to, destroying, loving and filling their home with an overgrown puppy. I wept as he brought them through some of their saddest moments with a tenderness they hadn't thought possible. Well, I finished it last night and I cried my eyes outcryingsmil.
It's a brilliant book for anyone who has or has had a dog in their life.
