My old car passed first time last year - I was gobsmacked, the girl at the garage laughed at me because I was so shocked - it's 15 years old!

ours was in the morning as well, and it passed , it is the first car that I have ever had that has passed first time, so yes you do get a shock lol.

How much are you going to have to fork out to get it fix. Hope it is not to much.

I had to get rid of my lovely little micra last year when I got a two page failure report!! I was so sad and the frustrating thing was that she was mechanically perfect but the body was so corroded she was held together by the dirt! So I had to get a new car for no money and quick so I bought a little rover 100 (a metro by any other name) out of the autotrader for £350 and it seems fine, had no problems, full service history etc but I'm soooo worried about the MOT next month!
