am not happy with this RELATE malarky....i phoned them today because we still havent heard when our first counselling appointment would be and we have already paid so after a week i expected to hear something.,

so that chap tells me that the slots are booked and until someone decides they dont want counselling anymore we have just got to wait. so i ask him how long he thinks that will be and said "well could be a week, could be a couple of months!"

A COUPLE OF MONTHS!!!!!!!!! DH said he will come back when we have had a couple of sessions so that we are heading in the rite direction, at this rate itll be blummin christmas before we sleep in the same bed!

god...Staffordshire must not be a very good place for couples! they are all in counselling! LOL (but not LOL really....:no:)

Think I would be annoyed too after paying money and you can't get a date out of them. I understand Relate is a charity but it would be nice if you can get things sorted soon. I would leave it a few days and then chase them again. Hope you are able to sort it soon.

What about asking your GP if they can recommend someone else? Surely RELATE aren't the only relationship counsellors?
