I went for an interview on Friday, I phoned about the job around dinner time and they called back late that afternoon and asked if I could go straight away for an interview, so i did, it sounded a really nice job they said they had one other person to see today but they would let me know this evening,he asked what time i got home from work so I told him around 6.30, he said he would phone but not heard a thing, taking it I haven't got it but the least they could do is to call when they said they would:angry:

oh i hate it when people dont do what they say they are going to....its very rude! look at it like this.....if they are that rude then you wouldnt want to work for them anyway! because you are lovely! so they dont deserve you!

I know how you are feeling. Hopefully they are just bad at time management (no excuse) and they will contact you tomorrow and offer you the job.
I applied for a job before Christmas. Heard nothing so emailed them and they said as they hadn't received many applicants they were going to re-advertise again after Christmas and I was welcome to re-apply. So I thought ..."and you were going to tell me this when?"
So the job was re-advertised 2 weeks ago and I sent in my CV again by email with a 'read receipt' on it. I have heard absolutely nothing - they can't even send a 'read receipt' or acknowlege my application.
...who is it? A well know school in nottingham!

Heard anything yet hun?

If not, the way you should look at it is that you wouldn't want to work for someone that disorganised/rude!

Something will come up hun

Sorry to hear that you have still not received a response, Ruthie. It is both disappointment and frustrating when they tell you they will ring and then don't.

I thought it was standard practice to say that they would let you know and then you hear nothing from them or that has been my past experience before I got this job
