Ds came running out of school screaming n crying n creating n blood in his mouth-his tooth is literally about to drop out but he is a nightmare n hates pain n hates blood!!!!He told the teacher n her reply was 'what do you want me to do im not a dentist'!!!!! I rang n complain about that as ive explained what ds is like n all they needed to do was give him calpol-ive signed a legal form to say they can give him calpol if he needs it.

He created n screamed all the way home so got blood all over his coat n kept saying 'dont want a dentist n dont want to bleed to death n die'!!!!!

Anyone else got a 7yr old like this??? Its hard bloomin work and got another 5 loose teeth to go after this one.:hissyfit:

aww, bless him. is it his first tooth?? my dd can't wait for hers to come out! are the school gonna do anything about the teachers comment? i think that was a bit naughty if they know he gets so upset. my girls can be right wus's sometimes and the best thing to do is either ignore them if you know it's not worth the tears and tantrum or distract them with something else!! hope he's calmed down now..xx

That's a bit unfair of the teacher Em. My dd would have been the same as your ds though!

Have you got it out yet? Tell him there is money at the end of it!! Usually does the trick!

poor little thing, it would have helped with his teacher talking to him like that, i would have gone mad.

hope he is a bit better, will he not let you pull it out???

my boys have had no trouble loosing teeth. i dont ever remember them bleeding.

hope it comes out soon

Awww the poor lad. Hope the tooth falls out soon without any further bother. Mine aren't at the losing teeth stage yet, but Tyler is 6 in June so he'll probably start soon....Would think he will be the same though.

I would make sure the teacher gets her ass handed to her about her attitude though Em.

Aww poor J maybe when he sees that he hasn't bled to death and it isn't the end of the world he wont worry so much next time.

the poor thing

to be honest when cam lost a couple of his he did not have much say in the matter as madam helped them come out with her actions :hysterica - twirled him around on a computer chair, got him with a trainer and with her foot - she said it was an accident. Once maybe but not 3 teeth

Its still in....just!!!!!! Its so loose that every time he touches it or eats it bleeds but he refuses to pull it out n starts pannicing if it bleeds.:ac39:

Yeah it is his 1st tooth.

When I rang the school to complain they said o the teacher was busy and couldnt do anything and we dont pander to the kids cos we try to prepare them for Comp when they have to get on with it!!!!!!!!!:angry-smi123 :angry-smi123 Obviously the fact ds is scared of blood and was in pain cuts no ice with them. :angry-smi123

Think it l be fun tomorow at school-half of me thinks il go in n complain again but the other half thinks well they didnt want to know today when I complained plus ds has said 'dont go in mam just leave it il be fine'. shrugshoulders111

so part of preparing them for comp is helping to make them even more paranoid about bleeding and pain.

J has another 3 years in juniors before he goes to senior school and I think that it is a bit tough as they are still adjusting to being juniors

I know exactly what you mean San-its bloomin stupid if you ask me. Today ds said it was all ok and the head came out at the end of school to say ds had been ok-like thats meant to excuse yesterday.:fryingpan:

The tooth Colette-lol-well its hanging on by a tiny bit of gum but hanging on like bloomin superglue-he ate a hotdog today useing that tooth to bite etc n the bloomin thing is still stuck in!!!!!:hissyfit:

Jake is 7 and he is a MASSIVE girly pants (he's getting better though) His first tooth was a flipping nightmare. In the end I sent him up to brush his teeth and we popped the plug in to catch it for the tooth fairy. It fell out and Jake felt a right numpty after he realised it doesn't actually hurt! he is fine now he's had about another 4 come out since.
