View Full Version : What would you do?
Hi
I won a wooden dolls house on ebay with 37 bits of furniture - I thought I had won a bargain and I paid immediately by paypal but the seller took 10 days to send but when it arrived the furniture is not included.
Have since emailed seller again to ask where bits are but as yet no reply.
I haven't left any feedback yet but am starting to get a frustrated.
What would you do?
Thanks in advance for any replies

Just wanted to reply hun !
Can you send an email/complaint to Ebay ? If they have not responded ? I think you can even file a complaint with paypal to get your money back. That is disgusting !!!
Just to think I was given a negative feedback the other day from some stupid woman who thinks in her words "To charge £1.66 extra for postage and packaging is outrageous" and neg feedback !!!! The book she bought was in perfect condition for 99p !! My goodness what does she want.
Sorry that turned into an about me issue, when it's about you !! Don't sit back and wait hun do something about it.

you need to go onto your ebay account and on the left hand side about half way downish there is dispute console. click this and then click on Report an Item Not Received or Not as Described, then follow instructions i think you just need the item number

Postage costs are so expensive! I sold an individual magazine (I think it was she so quite thick) and to post it first class was 87p
I only sold it for 99p - oh well haha lesson learnt

I agree with the others - give the seller 1 last chance, with a deadline and after that report it to eBay.
Many thanks for all replies - much appreciated.
Janey (PinkFairyCake) - you made me laugh re: theiving timewasting idiot - thank you - wish I could put that but not sure it will go down well.
Will write the seller another email with a response time before reporting to ebay.
Thank you again everyone

i've found contacting the seller is your best option and if possible deal with it that way, you can claim your money back but not all of it! you have to fill in a really long form and if you only paid a few quid then it's not worth it, try again with the seller and you can also be sneaky and check their feedback and see if they've left any for anyone else in the last few days while you've been trying to contact them, then you'll know if they've been active on ebay and just ignoring your mail!! hth xx
