well the boys room was an absolute dive just lately they have been just tipping it out and leaving it well i have just flipped and baged the lot and put it by the back door (so they think its being chucked) 5 black bags worth
dp is going up there and taking out the dvd and playstation and disconecting the tv
ive had a gut load of it i dont mind the mess but i ask them to tidy it and i have to go on and on all day for em to tidy it and then they still dont do it
alex dont seem to care he was helping me put it in the black bags lmao
so this weekend im gutting the room and a lot of the stuff is going :hissyfit:

Don't feel guilty!! It's never to early to let them know you mean what you say! We do far to much threatening and not enough action!
Hopefully they'll think twice next time :D

awww they are only little arnt they char? or is it they have been told and told and not listenedwell jack is 6 1/2 and alex is 4 alex can tidy at nursery so should be able to do it here and jack well im fed up with seeing his ps games all over the floor not in cases along with dvds (he has broke his ps2 so has my old one) so i have told him if he cant look after it then it goes
im being a little harder on jack as he is that bit older and if alex sees him doing it then he will follow and also jacks stuff is more expensive to replace so if he cant look after it he dont have it
dp nearly every day is having to go up there and tidy their room and tbh its not fair on him so this is a last resort

its not so much the toys that annoy me (even though its anoying) its the expensive stuff like the ps2 and games and dvds ect
they need to learn to treat stuff with respect for them to get nice things

gonna get the kids to make some posters in a bit what do you think ?
say 5 rules they need to keep to in their rooms like
1. tidy up after their selves
2. no throwing toys
3. no jumping on the beds
4. no slamming the door (they are terrible for it)
5. respect each others toys and share
what do you think is it a bit much ?

I would have those as suggeestions and then get them to make up their own based around those.. then they are more likely to stick to them!! LOL What about a reward chart too???
