I seem to be constantly up to my elbows in dirty washing, wet 'washed' washing, dry 'needs folding' washing, dry 'needs ironing' washing! dirty plates and bowls that need washing.... washing up that needs putting away!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!:hissyfit:

I know I am at home all day every day and sit on my bum watching trisha all day while my children take themselves to school and change their own nappies, feed themselves, entertain themselves, bath and dress themselves!! but its never ending washing!!

Oh and don't forget I am supposed to also build on and update my website, order stock, speak to suppliers, advertise and throw usborne book parties!

....aaaaaaand relax! phew! sorry that feels better now!

I'm not complaining about getting to spend more time with my children, but i do feel like its a laundrette sometimes and everyone I know blatantly thinks I have it easy and do naff all, all day!

I know how you feel, the worst one is ds putting things in the washing basket because he has put it on out of the drawer and decided to wear something else !!

I hate it and I've not even got little ones extra washing, its always hanging about, waiting to be washed or waiting to be dried and its peeing down outside and then when its dry the damn stuff waits there for you to iron it and then when its ironed everyone else will just walk past it never thinking to carry it upstairs!!!!!

I know how you feel and I am lucky. I pay for my ironing to be done every weekend but my dd is supposed to empty the tumble drier and fold everything, put away non-ironed stuff and bag stuff for ironing to be taken on a Sunday. However, she doesn't empty the tumble drier until Sunday morning so it is all creased to hell and back and I have to spend all Sunday washing, cos as a matter of principle, I won't do her jobs and pay her for them!

I have a never ending pile of washing, particularly when we do a sheet change which is usually every week, max of 2 and with four beds (two of which are large) it takes some washing! Im sure girls go through more than boys as well as my neighbours with boys dont seem to have as much!

my boys are terrible, it might be clean but still goes in a heap in the bedroom then i havent a clue what they've worn or not and end up with so much.

what is it with the bedroom floor? have plenty of wash baskets in or near the bedroom, they just dont use them

Hmmm.....I know what you mean, but my boys like clean vests in the morning then again at bedtime, as well as socks, pants for Tyler as well. Clean jammies every day, and their sheets changed twice a week. Tyler also gets a fresh set of clothes for school every day.

I noticed a big difference when we went from 4 of us to 5. The washing did seem to increase by loads even though there was only one more of us in the house!
