Gonna ask one of my thicky q's again so beware..

Is a strapline the quote thingy under your logo?

The one i always use is

knot just jigs, traditional but trendy wooden toys.

Is this one of the things the SEO picks up on? or have i got the wrong end of the stick and its the meta doo-da's that pick these key words up
(traditional, wooden and toys)

I want to change mine around a little and thought of thses opinions please

1, Knot Just Jigs, the online toyshop to buy traditional but trendy wooden toys, jigsaws and gifts.

2, Knot Just Jigs the online toystore stocking all those toys you forgot existed, traditional but trendy.

3, Knot Just Jigs traditional but trendy wooden toys, for all those toys you forgot existed!

I am also expanding my range and will stock other items so any ideas welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, strapline is the wording under your logo. Not too sure about the whole SEO on it, but I would have thought having certain keywords in there will help you out with the site and people finding you.

Try and keep it simple, shortish and to the point. When you describe yourself as "traditional" but trendy it is a little confusing ? (Maybe that's just me !) I've just had a look at your items and most of them are quite modern. I don't know whether you need to include "online" in your strapline as it's quite obvious when someone clicks on to a site such as yours that you provide an online service iykwim.

Anyway how about;

KnotJustJigs
Wooden Toys, Jigsaws and Gifts.

Knot Just Jigs
Traditional Wooden Toys with a Modern Theme.

Knot Just Jigs ... just lots of choice on Traditional Wooden Toys.

Hope that helps a little. xx

Forgot to say i am adding more "traditional toys" such as jacobs ladders, spinning tops, old fashioned dustpan and brush sets, whip and top etc ...

I like traditional wooden toys with a modern theme... may have to consider that one.

Thanks

I'd go with 'traditional and trendy' rather than 'but' cos 'but' has negative connotations. knotjustjigs - bringing traditional wooden toys up to date! any good for you?
