That feels better. Why do people change their plans at the last minute and expect everyone else to fall in line.

Tonight some of us from work were suppose to be going for a drink with one of the girls we use to work with. I agreed to go because i was promised that it was just a drink and no-one would be having food so i thought i'd be able to afford it.

I'm half way through cooking tea and i get a text to say that everyone is eating now.Well for one i cant afford to and secondly i'm cooking my tea, should they not have told me earlier. Now i'm going to have to sit there and watch everyone else eat.

Honestly, i wish i hadn't said i would go now, i could be infront of the box watching Eastenders and CBB.

are you still going though??? I would stay at home i think, no actually i would go out and have more food to eat, lol but i am a pig, but anyway how unthoughtful of them not discussing it with everyone first before deciding they was having a meal aswell

i agree, surely the person you're giving a lift to wouldn't mind if you turned up after the meal, as you are doing a favour for her anyway, plus she may be a bitted miffed if last minute as well x
