Just a quick strange question for a Sunday afternoon (I hate Sundays!).
Has anyone ever looked at getting branded tissue paper made? I saw some tissue paper in a shop and they had the shop name and logo printed all over it and it looked great.
I wondered how expensive it would be and where you would get it done?
Thanks guys

I think there was a company at the Autumn Fair who did this, but I can't remember for certain and I can't remember their name.

If you aren't going to the Spring Fair, maybe ask someone who is if they can pick up a catalogue for you if they see anyone who does this?

Sorry I'm not much help. :-(

Bunny and Blue sends out her items in tissue paper which is secured with a couple of stickers or labels with her logo. Maybe you already do that but I thought I would mention it as it does look pretty. Preso on BGH prints labels/stickers.

I know it sounds a bit daft but have you thought about doing it yourself. Don't laugh but I have a rubber stamp (made by Bladerubber) and I just stamp over my tissue paper with it in a random pattern in a colour that matches what I want it to. Like me you're not using great sheets of tissue and it's really effective and cheaper too.

I thought about that too Kate and wondered if it was do-able!

No not at all, well mine looks ok lol. I have stamped in moss green to match my bags and also in gold and silver, I wrap wedding stationery up in white tissue stamped in either gold or silver to match the stationery colour.

Blade rubber in London will make up stamps with your logo or to be honest anything you can draw or print out. You have to post the originals to them though you can't order them online.

I use purple tissue and labels I've printed at home. Could do with some new ones I think cos they're not sticky enough, but they do the job :)

Ahhh thank you

I had looked into the printing before BUT its VERY expensive !!!

White tissue plus 1 colour = £26 plus VAT per ream Minimum of 10 reams per order. !!!! :hissyfit:

So that gives an idea of a starting price !!

Also, went down the print my own tissue paper route BUT the only negative I had was the worry that should the paper get wet the ink would run and ruin items. However I never really looked into that fully so maybe waterproof ink would be the answer ?? LOL !!!!

Also, didnt have the time !!

There is an ink called Stazon which dries almost instantly and is waterproof, well it doesn't wash off anyway. It's used for shiny surfaces, plastics, metals, accetate glass etc. It's perfect for tissue paper, comes in many colours and won t run when wet. It's available at all craft shops or online.

Hope that helps

Mine is really nasty looking recycled stuff that i had to buy as my supply ran out - they don't seem to do pretty recycled stuff.

I am actually thinking about going even further backwards with packaging and getting rid of absoloutly every bit that isn't actually needed - but then i think a bit of something that looks nice hmmm looks nice.

Thanks everyone!
I looked in to it and it is too expensive - pah! I did find some fab leopard print tissue paper on my travels but DH said it is tacky and wouldn't go with my normal colours. What does he know!!!!
I like the stamp idea - thanks Katiequiggle!
